Abstract must be submitted for both oral and poster presentations. All abstracts will be reviewed by the Local Organizing Committee.

The abstract must be submitted in English and limited in one page of the A4 size. Please download and read the abstract template < Microsoft Word / PDF >. The presenting author is requested to enter personal information together with the abstract in the template. Please fill in the required fields. Authors may indicate their preferred presentation type (poster or oral presentation). However, the organizing committee will take the final decision regarding the presentation type. Accepted abstracts will be published in the abstract book.

The presenting authors must submit the abstract electronically via e-mail. The e-mail message with the abstract file attached should be titled 'Abstract Submission "name of the presenting author"'.

Financial support for students and early career (under 35 years of age) scientists may be available through the IUCr and the ICDD. Eligible participants interested in applying, please send a CV and publication list to the conference organizers at iucrhp2012@ml.jaea.go.jp.
